Palermo sweet (Hungarian type)Peppers

 I planted these at the beginning of spring and they seem to  have grown quite well. They're only really getting going with the fruit as we head into the colder months  so I'm going to overwinter them to give them a head start in the spring.

 The two big beds in the front garden had tomatoes in one and chickpeas/ soybeans in the other.  Once they had been harvested I planted mustard as a green mulch. This week I crushed the mustard under a layer of cardboard over of which I applied mulch, coffee grounds, and ash.
