Lemon update Jan

It's still a bit early to 'call it' but it looks like Ruth was right.
Two applications of copper and the trees are maintaining their leaves...

  1. I also cut off every leaf curl affected leaf, put it in a bag, sealed and binned it. All the fruit was binned, too - such a shame. Leaf curl spreads otherwise. My peach trees have made it through the drought and heat so far, no further leaf curl evidence (phew), but I'm spraying copper again after the leaves have dropped, and just before they return in spring. Our friendly farmer next door had an orchard of soft fruits - copper spray worked for him. By the way - this is Ruth (under alias??)
