Going nowhere fast (cont.)

Boarded the plane back to Oz and found the same air steward from my inward bound flight, greeting passengers.
I grinned at her and fired off a quip bout 'hoping the locks on the doors were all functioning correctly'
'That was a long day' she agreed. Thought I could see wariness drift across her face.

When we were airborne she visited my seat and dropped off a pair of first class headphones, an express arrival slip, and made another quick apology.

Later in the flight I saw her walking the isle comforting a baby in her arms.

I like Air New Zealand.
