Tomatoes uncovered

Had to pull up the cloche frames that were protecting the tomatoes and use them to protect the garlic crop.

Good time to see what sort of a harvest I’ve ended up with.

    


I planted these in January (read here) so I’m pretty happy with the result




Cleaned the tomatoes up, cooked for a minute in the pressure cooker, then extracted the juice with the mouli. After a terrible summer, looks like I will be making home made spag bol this winter after all.



I cleaned up the ones that were not quite ‘there’, and dropped them into a box to ripen.
