Awhi farm : Cooking dinner in a hole in the ground

There are some hot springs just a short drive from the property.
For a treat we bundle up some food (Kia in Maori) and cook it the traditional way.
It's usually big chunks of meat, some Kumara (local sweet potato), greens such as Puha (like spinach), all bundled up together.
I reckon it would be cool to try cooking Chinese dumplings, or a steamed pudding this way.
